Personal Information:

 

Howie splits his time between Goshen, NY and NYC.  He spends his free time volunteering for The Mentoring Partnership of New York and working as an advisor for The B’nai B’rith Youth Organization.  He is an avid sports enthusiast who can often be found at a Yankee game or playing in a recreational basketball league.

 

Professional Bio:

 

In the nearly 10 years that Howie Berman has been involved in the Construction, Development, and Inspection fields, he has built over 150 homes and buildings, overseen infrastructure development and installation, in addition to performing numerous residential and commercial inspections.  As a principal with Ruby Homes and Ruby Construction Services, LLC he is responsible for managing field operations and construction to ensure the high level of quality that his customers and partners have come to expect.  As the Director of Inspection Services and Partner, at Inspect Your Home, Inc, Howie has performed residential and commercial inspections and is responsible for developing inspection standards and keeping his inspectors up to date with the most current technical information.

Howie holds the following degrees, licenses and certifications: Bachelor of Arts, University of Michigan: Political Science; American Home Inspectors Training Institute; Certified Graduate Builder (NAHB); New York State Home Inspector License #16000009436; New York State Approved Home Inspector Instructor; New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commercial Pesticide Applicator (Termite Inspections); Disaster Housing Inspector.  He is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, National Association of Home Builders, New York State Builders Association, and the Builders Association of Hudson Valley for whom he sits on the Education committee.
